1. INTRODUCTION

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL is a company certified according to the normative reference ISO9001: 2008 (APCER), as well as its product "DOUBLE GLASS" certified by the CERTIF entity (certificate nº VID-001/2011, valid until January 23, 2016).

 

Rigorous quality tests on the glasses produced are daily carried out by the company using our internal laboratory, which is properly equipped

for this purpose. For the manufacture of our Glasses, raw materials of the first quality are used, acquired from reference manufacturers in the market.

 

It is therefore ensured an excellent quality of our Glasses supplied to the Customer, while translating into a guarantee of longevity and reliability.

2. GENERIC CONDITIONS

Our sales are governed by the General Conditions of Sale defined below.

 

The Client agrees to the terms and conditions of sale described below, being the full responsibility of the knowledge thereof, waiving any other right enshrined in the general law or special in case of confirmation of the budget or order acceptance. Our representatives, delegates or other employees do not have the power to force our company.

 

3. VALIDITY OF THE PROPOSAL

The indicated in the price list or in the budget (VAT plus the legal rate in force).

 

The energy worsening is included in the prices shown.

 

All other aggravations, single and double glass and services are defined and detailed in the current price list.

 

4. ORDERS

Orders can only be made through a request or a written document, without which they can not be executed.

The ordering of orders can be changed by VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL for technical planning needs or taking into account the rules of good technique related to the convenient operation of the equipment.

 

Delivery times are set according to the order's specifications, although they are indicative only, and VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL is not responsible for any delays, except in written agreement to the contrary, seeking customer satisfaction in the shortest possible time.

 

In case of inoperability of our facilities, for reasons beyond our control, unforeseeable natural phenomena or fire, VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL will be free to provide the respective order, however, and the customer will be informed immediately.

 

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL is not responsible for the breaking of Color Glasses: Bronze, Green, Gray, Blue that do not undergo the thermal process of Tempera or Thermo-Hardening.

 

5. ANNULATIONS

All requests for cancellations and / or amendments must be made in writing, otherwise they will not be considered.

 

We reserve the right to VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL not to accept cancellations and / or alterations of orders whose manufacture has already been started. In case of acceptance, the Client will be charged all the expenses so far inherent.

 

6. MOLDS / FORMS

For glasses with irregular geometry, the customer must supply the molds in resistant material, rigid, otherwise the order of the same will not be accepted, and the

molds correspond to the exact dimensions of the desired glass.

 

For glass produced through non-rigid molds, VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL is not responsible.

 

The minimum surface to be considered for billing corresponds to the rectangle where the mold is inscribed, the millimeter values ​​being in excess of the centimeter (Example: 1315 =

1320).

 

Glasses subject to mold and / or irregular shape are aggravated by m2 on the base price.

 

The molds may be destroyed by VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL if not claimed by the customer within 48 hours after delivery of the order.

 

7. CUSTOMER PROPERTY AND SPECIFICATION

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL is committed to preserving the client's property and maintaining confidentiality with respect to data or documents that have access to the customer's source.

 

Our workers are therefore duly informed on this subject, as well as being duly informed of the need to comply with the rules

during the work to be carried out by us in the premises of the same.

 

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL is not, however, responsible for any anomalies, damages, breaks, defects or mistakes of materials or equipment owned by the customer, or that result from poor specification or customer request.

 

8. TECHNICAL ADVICE

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL provides the customer with technical advice through its commercial area.

 

Our indications or suggestions should only be taken as such and may never constitute a guarantee, commitment or responsibility for VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL.

 

9. VARIATIONS AND TOLERANCES

All materials are produced according to the internal quality standards of VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, and may have tolerances and accepted variations, including dimensions, weight, thickness, planimetry, composition, optical and mechanical properties, normal variations of thickness, surface and color, internal conditions and deviations, provided that they meet the standards of manufacture and quality of the supplier.

 

10. PRODUCT TRACEABILITY AND IDENTIFICATION

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL ensures the traceability of the product supplied to the customer, and it is possible through internal registers to verify from the lot of cut sheet up to the production / lot number of the respective glass.

 

All components / raw materials that are part of double glazing are also subject to internal traceability.

 

We guarantee the correct identification of our glasses supplied to the customer, through a glued label, by glass, which includes the order number / order number, batch, dimensions, manufacturing standard and date of production, among others.

 

Our product VIDUPLO® | PLUS is identified with the following stamp VDP.xxx.yy (inside glass), the first three letters corresponding to the company name VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, followed by figures corresponding respectively to the quarter and year of manufacture.

 

11. TRANSPORTATION

The goods are always transported under the risk and responsibility of the customer, unless they are transported by VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL.

 

In the cases where the transport is carried out by VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, the breaks and defects imputed to the transport must be demanded at the moment of receipt of the product, being considered good reception of the product, for example, the customer's signature of our guide transport.

 

The product is always supplied in bulk and transported by us through appropriate metal trestles. Any requested packaging will always be in accordance with the budget

prior and in charge of the client.

 

The Customer undertakes to preserve and release our transportation stands that remain in its warehouse until the product is consumed. Responsibility for collection

these easels will always be of VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL.

 

12. PLACEMENTS

When the placement is made by VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, the breaks and defects imputable to the placement are no longer the responsibility of VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, after the completion of the work and subsequent verification of the client.

 

13. QUALITY CERTIFICATES

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL makes available, if requested in writing by the Client, copies of Type Certificates, Performance Declarations and Technical Sheets of the Double Glass produced, as well as detailed information on the result of the associated Quality Control.

 

Our CE identification label placed on Glass is also a guarantee of the quality of the product supplied.

 

14. CLAIMS AND RETURNS

All complaints / returns must be formalized in writing, via fax or letter.

 

The analysis of the complaint will be performed after the delivery of the goods, under the responsibility of the customer, in the premises of VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, and in the impossibility of this will be supplied a new glass, although invoiced, so after visiting the competent services of VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, and if there is a fault attributable to the supplier, a credit note will be made.

 

The material reason for complaint must be returned to VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL within a period of 30 days from the date of the complaint, for our analysis and trials. At the end of this period, if the return has not been made and there is no valid reason for doing so, the claim is considered to be ineffective, and the customer will replace the replaced material.

 

Expenses arising from the assembly and disassembly of the materials to be replaced, as well as the storage and rendering of the service used in those operations are considered

always excluded from the responsibility of VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, if the assembly was not of our scope of supply.

 

15. GUARANTEE

The double glass produced by the company VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, with identification stamp (VDP.xxx.yy) has a guarantee of 10 years from the date of manufacture.

 

In other types of productions or in other cases, the warranty applies exclusively to the quality of the materials supplied, on the characteristics indicated and guaranteed by the

manufacturer of the raw material.

 

All these guarantees are valid as long as the normal conditions of use are fulfilled.

 

The improper use, accidents or other damages caused, unrelated to our responsibility, will immediately void any type of guarantee without any communication as

any and all work performed by third parties on materials supplied by us.

 

No guarantee will be given to glasses that break and that they have been broken due to a problem other than that of our installation, as well as

spontaneous breaks to which the tempered glass is subject.

 

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL is not responsible for breakage or thermal shock caused by overlapping of glass, blackout or opaque elements next to glass, blades, elements that create overheating in the glass, any element glued on them or between them.

 

After delivery to the customer, no guarantee will be given to glasses that are scratched from the exterior, or that show cracks, due to poor handling or preservation by the

client or other companies involved in the contract.

 

Double glazing with decorative profile also have product certification so they have a guarantee of 10 years from the date of manufacture.

 

16. PAYMENT / BILLING CONDITIONS

All payments must be made by bank transfer or check, and complaints about elements of invoices must be made within 30 days.

 

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL, unless otherwise agreed in writing, will not accept payments through letters or promissory notes. In case these payment methods are authorized, they must be returned to us within 3 days from the date of shipment, after they have been properly analyzed and accepted.

 

Failure to pay any invoice on the due date will imply that VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL may apply interest at the applicable legal rate in force.

 

Any applicable discounts will be calculated according to the value of the supplies before taxes.

 

For invoicing purposes, the areas to be debited result from the multiplication of the dimensions of a rectangle in which the part is inscribed. In the case of geometric shapes, which

commercial services should be contacted on a case-by-case basis to determine the respective increase in the sales price.

 

All disruptions in the glass manufacturing services provided by the customer will not be assumed by VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL.

 

17. LIMITS OF CREDIT AND TERMINATION OF CONTRACT

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL reserves the right to set credit limits, require bank guarantees or other means of guarantee of payment.

 

The breach of any obligation assumed by the client, namely the payment of the price under the agreed conditions, will allow VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL to resolve the contract.

 

The resolution shall take effect immediately and shall be communicated to the Client by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.

 

18. JURISDICTION

In the event of a dispute, the jurisdiction shall be that of the Setúbal District, with waiver of any other forum or domicile.

 

19. ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL demonstrates its concern for the preservation of the environment in general, so that the various wastes from the manufacture and assembly of the glass are properly separated and sent to the appropriate final destination.

 

About 95% of the components that integrate the double glass are sent for recycling.

 

We guarantee the health and safety of our workers, both in the factory and in the workplace, by means of collective and individual protection appropriate to the various work to be done, and EPI's "Individual Protection Equipment" is distributed free of charge.

 

VIDUPLO GLASS PORTUGAL is based on the principles of ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 as a guideline for its good practices in the field of environment, health and safety at work.
